Points System for State Fish-Off Qualification and Standings within Cape Cod Bass

  1. Receiving Points
    Points are given as follows: 2400 points for first (1st) place, decreasing 100 points for each place thereafter.
    Skunk Points are given to all anglers that weigh in no fish and must split last place points evenly.
  2. Final Standings
    Six (6) out of eight (8) Tournament points earned within a season will be used for final standings and state fish-off qualification. The top six (6) best finishes will be used, and worst two (2) must be dropped. The top eight (8) members (top four (4) boaters and top four (4) non-boaters) are eligible for the state fish-offs team. Should a member decline to attend, the next place will be eligible.
  3. Awards
    Awards will be given for the top three (3) anglers in the club, largest stringer (at one single event), largest largemouth bass, largest smallmouth bass, angler of the year (voted on annually by the club members, in a secret ballot)
