Team MillerTech/KBF Take TOY Lead
The Yakattack Team Kayak Series Stop #3 gave anglers a challenge with weather on Kentucky Lake, presented by The Dugout Bait & Tackle with heavy hitters battling for the win.
Anglers battled it out for two days of tough competition in less than favorable conditions. Regardless, the quality of fish still scored may just prove that this once epic and still decent fishery is finally on a major rebound. With back to back wins now, Team MillerTech/KBF, (Abby Abbondanza and Jody Queen), left with another Champion title and are now your TKS Team of the Year (TOY) points leaders.

Tennessee natives, Rus Snyders and Parris Edwards of Team KBF put up some key upgrades towards the end to bump their way back up to a second place trophy.
Proudly representing Carson-Newman University as a duo team, young but accomplished anglers Jordan Lovejoy and Jacob Berryhill (CN Anglers) went home with the 3rd place prize. This event paid out to 4th place with the last check going to SOLO angler, and another TN native, Adam Petrone, the Yakin Assassin! Billy Smith of Team River Goat walked away with the Dakota Lithium Batteries Big Bass trophy and prize with his stunning 21.25” giant.

The series continues next month with stop #4 on Nickajack Lake, a less known lake to many anglers being the middle sibling between Chickamauga and Guntersville. This was the location for the KBF and FLW joint event which showed out for the anglers who put up higher quality that weekend than most of the pro’s were able to produce at Chickamauga.
